BACKGROUND TO THE TOUR :

Anyone coming to play golf in Lancashire should rightly expect to find the best courses and the best hospitality; and that is exactly what this event has to offer. Four classic and celebrated golf clubs have joined forces to establish the Lancashire Classic Golf Tour.  

Much thought was given to the balance and attraction of courses for the tour and hopefully you will feel, as we do, that it is just about right. To ensure competitors get a true flavour for the variety and quality of courses within the county we have a mixture of Parkland and true Links, with each course having a proven track record of hosting County or National competitions.

The tour has been designed to attract golfers from all over the UK, golfers that want to spend four days enjoying a great golfing experience whilst taking in the outstanding views and attractions that the area has to offer. The format for the competition was developed from experiences gained in similar events in UK and Ireland. With all competitors playing at the same course each day the impact on individual courses and its members is minimal.

During your four days of competition you will encounter some of the most challenging and picturesque holes the Red Rose County has to offer and at the end of each round why not sit down with your team and enjoy the hospitality each club has to offer whilst discussing what could have been.
